Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Director of Materiel Services and within the Vision, Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Seven Oaks General Hospital, the Environmental Cleaning Services Aide is responsible for maintaining the facility in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. He/She performs all required cleaning functions, including restocking of supplies, waste removal, recycling, and other related duties.
Experience
- Previous environmental cleaning services experience in a health care setting preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Grade 10 education.
- Recognized Housekeeping Course (e.g., “Fundamental Housekeeping Methodology”) an asset.

- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
