Your primary goal will be to drive the adoption of cloud-native solutions, optimize platform tools such as GitLab and Vault, and develop capabilities that build better, more resilient systems. As a core infrastructure team, SRE operates in a POD structure, providing essential tools and platforms that serve the entire company. • Act as a FinOps and cloud design expert, advising on cost-optimization strategies, budgeting, and cloud architecture decisions to ensure efficient and sustainable cloud usage.

  • Utilize services like Kubernetes, App Engine, Cloud Functions, CloudSQL, and Pub/Sub on Google Cloud Platform and Azure to architect, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications.

  • Collaborate with front-end teams to support the development of user interfaces that enhance the experience for tool administration, cloud management, and financial reporting.

  • Build and own infrastructure as code, automate CI/CD pipelines, and simplify operational processes by working closely with development teams to eliminate repetitive tasks.

  • Collaborate with dev and product leads to set SRE POD focus, align with business goals, and shape the SRE discipline across the organization. Act as a mentor, inclusive coach, and role model to foster an engaged, diverse, and highly skilled team.

What You Bring:

  • Background in software engineering, computer science, or related technical fields, with hands-on experience programming in languages like Java, Python, or Go.

  • Proven experience managing and optimizing platform tools such as GitLab, Vault, and other DevOps utilities to enhance development workflows and operational efficiency.

  • A passion for solving technical challenges and building automated solutions to minimize manual intervention.

  • Proficiency with cloud-native platforms; knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Azure is an asset.

  • Experience in frontend development and working with tools to enhance the user experience for platform and financial operations.
