Production Planner

Under the authority of the Production and Warehouse Manager, the position holder plans the production of the finished goods according to the required levels of inventory and the needs to fill the orders.

• By means of the available tools (Order book, inventory level, sales history, etc.), prepares the production schedule in order to meet the sales needs while maintaining the optimal inventory level for the season;
• Generates the needs for raw materials and packing components according to the production schedule and supports the Purchasing Agents in maintaining the optimal inventory level;
• Proceeds to cyclic counts on raw materials and packaging;
• Is able to ensure a production sequence in order to improve the efficiency percentage and reduce downtime;
• Participates in the elaboration of production standards by product; by machine;
• Cooperates with the Engineering Department in order to properly plan preventive maintenance without interfering with customer service requests;
• Participates in various operation meetings;
• May have to do various analysis reports (stock turnover, machine/performance, scrap factor, time waste, etc.);
• Responsible to monitor and evaluate raw materials, manpower planning, production recording and follow up;
• Production planning according to capacity and 100% capacity utilization in minimum cost;
• Setting the production targets and archives on time;
• Update production planning time to time according to the current situation;
• Work to implement planning and reduce plan vs actual gap;
• Distribute production planning to all related production staff and meetings to implement planning;
• Monitor daily production; make daily production report and tracking section wise production;
• Closely monitoring all pre-production activities and priority-based work progressing;
• Implement production planning and update time to time;
• Does any other related tasks.
