Job Description:?The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Manager of Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies -Rural to provide confidential administrative support. This position supports and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s objectives. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff, and in their absence, may provide support services as requested.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role?
Education:
- Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course
Other Education & Training:
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Competencies:
- Advanced communication skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Advanced organizational skills
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated political sensitivity and discretion
- Ability to take large amount of complex information and convey it concisely
