Job Description: The EMT-P will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-P will cover standby assignment, as operations require.

- Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license
Other Education and Training
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Pre-Hospital Care Program – Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Level
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)

Other Information
- Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call

- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP)
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
