Job Description: The Cybersecurity Specialist is a specialized position that will work collaboratively with the Manager, Cybersecurity and Director, Digital Health Business Partnerships in assessing, developing, and maintaining the Cybersecurity strategy required to support the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) business operations, and align with SHA Cybersecurity initiatives and compliance. The Specialist will support the development and implementation of the cyber governance program in alignment with the strategic plan and road map, promote organizational understanding of the importance of Cybersecurity through the SHA Cybersecurity Awareness Training program and communication platforms, and provide operational support to the cyber governance program. The Specialist will provide guidance on the cyber governance program, and facilitate applicable discussions with business partners from across the SHA and external partners where applicable. The Specialist will act as a central point of contact for the SHA, ensuring that the Cybersecurity framework, policies, procedures, and standards are implemented across all technology projects, systems and services. The Specialist demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Specialist must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Specialist will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.

Experience
- Experience in policy development, implementation and evaluation
- 3-5 years experience in information security management activities
- Experience in cyber awareness/risk/incident management, business continuity
Education
- Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BCE)
- Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS)
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in an applicable field
- Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
