My name is Fiona, and I’m a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I’m looking for a Cost Price Analyst for a company in the food industry located in Saint-Hyacinthe.
Main responsibilities
– Participate in setting up the accounting system to operate the plants;
– Performs follow-ups and variance analyses;
– Participate in the month-end accounting process and prepare journal entries;
– Propose recommendations to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency;
– Support plant management by performing various financial analyses at the request of plant or finance management;
– Participate in the production and analysis of operational reports and dashboards;
– Develop a financial culture within the plant;
– Other related duties as requested by supervisor.
Required training and experience
– Professional designation from the Ordre des CPA du Qu?bec (an asset) or equivalent;
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting or administration.
Skills required
– Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools (advanced Excel);
– Good command of the Office suite and knowledge of the SAP software package (an asset);
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams;
– Customer focus and ability to build strong partnerships;
– Demonstrated leadership, results-oriented and team-oriented;
– Rigor and accuracy in validating data and performing analyses;
– Analytical mindset and ability to identify opportunities for improvement;
– Tact and diplomacy in professional interactions.
