Job Description: REPORTING TO THE PROGRAM MANAGER OF THE DAY PROGRAM AND THERAPEUTIC RECREATION, THE REGISTERED NURSE/ REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE IS AN INTEGRAL MEMBER OF A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM. THE REGISTERED NURSE/ REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SOCIAL AND LIFE SKILLS COMPONENT OF THE DAY PROGRAM AND PROVIDES NURSING CARE AND RECOGNIZED PSYCHIATRIC BEST PRACTICE NURSING TECHNIQUES FOR THE TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF ADOLESCENTS WITH EMOTIONAL, BEHAVIORAL, AND/OR MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS.

Job Experience:?
- Requires three years experience in psychiatric nursing, two of which must be working with adolescents.
- Demonstrated ability in Social and Life Skills program development for adolescents required.

- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
