Position Overview
Under the direction of the Program Support Manager(s), Rehabilitation Services or the designated staff in Rehabilitation Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for: performing direct and indirect patient care activities as assigned; assisting Rehabilitation Services in the implementation of appropriate unit based treatment programs; maintaining and preparing clinical treatment areas and supplies and equipment; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Grade 12, or recognized equivalent.
- Successful completion of the Rehabilitation Assistant Program from Winnipeg Technical College or recognized equivalent.

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Physically capable of moving and transferring patients.
