We respectfully acknowledge School District 57, resides on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli Tenneh First Nations, McLeod Lake Indian Band and the Simpcw First Nation. It is our honour to walk alongside our indigenous communities in the education of our students.
Located in British Columbias interior region, School District No. 57, serves approximately 13,000 students in the communities and surrounding areas of Prince George, Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount . The region enjoys stunning geography, affordable housing, outstanding recreational facilities, a vibrant arts scene, complete range of urban services, including a regional teaching hospital and an international airport. Prince George is a multi-cultural city and a post- secondary educational destination with the University of Northern British Columbia and the College of New Caledonia located within the city.

Your ability to build positive, sustaining relationships is evident and your well-developed sense of organization, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills are accompanied by your ability to manage time and administrative tasks efficiently in supporting the school community. You value the input of all rights holders, and stakeholders and communicate in an open and transparent way.
Candidates will have or be working towards a master’s degree in education or equivalent. You must hold or qualify for a valid B.C. Professional Teaching Certificate and have a minimum of 5 years’ teaching and/or administrative experience. You have a successful portfolio of experiences gained through working in a variety of schools and have demonstrated experience leading learning initiatives, at a school or district level.
