Position Summary
Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is seeking a Permanent Part Time (0.77 FTE) MRT to join the Medical Imaging Department. This position will work days/evenings with the shift times rotating between 07:30 to 15:42, 08:00 to 16:12, 08:18 to 16:30, 08:48 to 17:00, 16:00 to 00:12, 16:30 to 00:42, 10:00 to 14:00 .
What Will You Work On?
The Medical Radiation Technologist performs radiographic/fluoroscopic and related duties working in conjunction with radiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.
Vernon Jubilee Hospital Diagnostic Imaging has a strong team approach with opportunities for on-going education and career growth. We are a teaching facility with students in all modalities. Our department has been filmless since November 2004 utilizing Fuji CR and Phillips DR with a McKesson PACS system. Our department has 3 general radiography rooms, 1 multi-purpose (Fluoro) room and 5 mobile x-ray machines.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
