Position Overview:
The Senior Consultant – Content Strategist will play a critical role in leading content assessment and strategy projects for our clients. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research, defining strategic recommendations, and developing content plans that align with business objectives and user needs. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver hiph-quality content strategies that enhance the user experience and drive measurable success.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Discovery and Assessment:
• Conduct primary research with stakeholders and users to identify content needs, pain points, and strategic opportunities.
• Perform content audits to analyze existing content volume, types, and metadata.
• Evaluate content architecture and taxonomy to identify gaps, redundancies, and areas for optimization. Build detailed content scorecards and frameworks to establish evaluation criteria.
• Develop comprehensive persona and audience profiles based on research and analytics.
Content Strategy Definition:
• Collaborate with clients to define success metrics and measurement plans for content effectiveness.
• Develop a content prioritization strategy by analyzing user needs, business goals, and content performance.
• Facilitate workshops to define content ratinp systems, conceptual diagrams, and strategic content mapping.
• Craft detailed content plans, including recommendations for taxonomy improvements, content templates, and information architecture.
Content Planning and Implementation:
• Translate strategic insights into actionable content recommendations, including content creation and optimization plans.
• Lead workshops to define content priorities and guide content planning sessions.
• Create detailed documentation of findings, including content scorecards, audit summaries, and content plan documents.
Client Engagement and Collaboration:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on content strategy initiatives.
• Present findings, strategic recommendations, and content plans to senior stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with clients by providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment between business objectives and content strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Masters in Information Management a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in content strategy, content design, UX, or content marketing roles.
• Proven track record in content assessment, strategy development, and content planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from content performance and user research.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and strategies in a clear, concise manner.
• Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
