Job Description:
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out prescribed Physiotherapy &
Occupational Therapy duties under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant program or equivalent
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relating to rehabilitation
• Valid CPR training
• Able to function as an integral component of an interdisciplinary team
• Able to work under minimal supervision accepting responsibility and accountability as assigned
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including skills in patient teaching
• Experience working with people of various ethno-cultural groups is an asset
• Demonstrated physical fitness to perform the essential duties of the position
• Strong work ethic and commitment is required.
• Demonstrated high standards of work outputs.
• Highly punctual.
• Demonstrated professionalism and reliability.
