What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities branch in Port Elgin is currently seeking an Associate to join a well-established Wealth Management team, specialized in providing investment and wealth management services to a sophisticated clientele. You will participate in building strong client relationships by providing exceptional and efficient service in responding to client needs and administrative duties related to client accounts. You must have a genuine passion for helping people reach their financial goals, and for working as a part of a team.
What will you do?
- Support the Investment Advisor team in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts, including the preparation of client reviews, presentations, meetings, events
- Responsible for the professional servicing of incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, their advisors, and other internal and external partners
- Work directly with our clients and their advisors to request information and documentation in order to fulfill their needs (open accounts, execute on trades, reporting, etc)
- Work with an exceptional team of colleagues to follow a service plan for proactive and a high level of client service and the delivery of comprehensive wealth management services
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice-to-have
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) (can be in process of obtaining)
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities systems and procedures, an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry
- Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit
