Location: Montréal, near St-Michel station. Parking on-site.
Salary: $23-25/h according to experience. Permanent position.
Schedule: 8am to 4pm, from Monday to Friday (35 hours a week). In-person only.
Tasks:
As an accounts receivable clerk, you will answer directly to the needs of the accounts receivable management team; a small, tight-knit crew within the thick of sales activities and under the umbrella of accounting duties. You will be the bridge between our customers and our high-quality products, and a spokesperson who will mirror our partner’s values of integrity and innovation. Your discretion and attention to detail will be your best assets, as you will often be handling sensitive information.
The accounts receivable clerk is tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Receiving customers’ payments, computer input of deposits; checks, credit cards, debit cards and direct payments.
- Reconciliation of customers’ accounts; mailing of bills, credit notes, account statements, collection.
- Communication with customers and files review in case of any error within the order; complete shipping and/or wrong addresses, design flaws, wrong colors.
- Credit term verification for every customer before order preparation.
- Deposit request for special orders with embroidery.
- Tab verification on picking tickets, calling customers for cash-on-delivery (COD) orders with postdated checks and/or debit or credit cards.
- Usage of the Moneris device for confirmed payments and for delivery pickups.
- Credit department assistance; shipping of credit applications and payment authorizations through credit card.
- Any additional relevant task designated by management.
