Education, Training and Experience
- A level of education, training & experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Radiological Technology, Medical Imaging, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, plus seven (7) years’ recent and related experience in the health care field.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies and best practice; experience in medical imaging and/or quality management.
- Current registration with relevant professional College/Association, if applicable. Demonstrated commitment to on-going learning and professional development.

Detailed Overview
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Reporting to the Director of Medical Imaging, the Manager of Medical Imaging is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and management of the assigned medical imaging department and designated operations portfolio. This includes supervising staff, implementing quality assurance measures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the imaging services. Oversees the operation and management of assigned Medical Imaging Services including General Radiography, CT Scanning, MRI Scanning, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Interventional Procedures.
The Manager is accountable for medical imaging quality management including departmental policies and procedures, continuous evaluation of services including external assessments and Diagnostic Accreditation Program, process improvement initiatives, radiation safety, quality assurance, and education. The Manager works in collaboration with other departments to streamline patient care pathways and enhance overall healthcare delivery. Key contacts include the FH Senior Leadership Team, FH Directors/Managers, Medical Directors, Professional Practice, Indigenous Health, Finance, Legal, People Services, Decision Support, and Communications leadership.
